The story began in 2002, after our founder finished middle school and entered the
hairdressing industry as an assistant in a salon in Düzce, Turkey. Although he had an
interest in fashion, the salon world quickly became a serious professional path.
In 2003, after moving to Sakarya, he continued his hairdressing career in different salons.
Later, he joined a disciplined salon environment that shaped his professional approach and
worked there for six years.
After gaining hands-on field experience, he opened his first salon in an 18 square meter space.
This first business became the foundation of his understanding of salon operations, customer
behavior, daily service management, product use and real business challenges.
As the business grew, a larger vision started to form. In 2017, he opened a 180 square meter
second branch with the goal of adding new services such as skin care and beauty treatments.
This field experience became the foundation of Turkey Sourcing Desk’s sourcing and consulting approach.
